Curved Wall Garden Studio / FRAHER
A small but mighty example of how digital manufacturing is reshaping the way great architecture gets made.
Design freedom within a sustainable, lean building methodology is a critical driver for the architects we work with. From a contractor perspective, certainty around cost, safety and as-built performance are essential requirements.
BlokBuild’s first project with FRAHER – a multi-disciplinary, award-winning practice combining architecture, construction and joinery – demonstrates the benefits our digitally-driven approach brings to the whole project ecosystem.
Situated in the curtilage of a Grade 2 listed building next to a prominent square in south London, the curved-wall garden studio is packed with features and innovation, from recessed and capped service channels for MVHR ductwork to the signature curves BlokBuild is becoming known for.
Watch the video to hear why architect Joe Fraher chose BlokBuild as a partner for the project, and the creative advantages close collaboration brought to the process.
